3 Best Songs For Each Band (Ft.Fall Out Boy)

Boy am i glad that you're back! It's time for the top 3 best songs from the emo quartet! This time, we were having a guest band, Fall Out Boy!! we’re also going to leave MCR because I somewhat covered them!

I guess we will start with our guest band!
Fall Out Boy’s 3 best songs (as voted by the community) are;
  1. Sugar, We’re Goin Down (oh my gee this song is bomb, because, not only the music video but the vibe and beat is literally amazing.)
  2. This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race (i don’t listen to this one as much as other songs but its still good, the beat is nice)
  3. Dance,Dance (Holy gosh, this song is a bop. A freaking bop. It just gets you in the mood to jump around and scream the lyrics)

There we go and now we're gonna get back to our regularly scheduled programming!

Time to check out Panic!’s top 3!!
  1. I Write Sins Not Tragedies. The song that got them on top 40 charts within a few months of release. It's still such a bop literally like i have never skipped it.
  2. Nine In The Afternoon..From the album that a little while after its release, the band split. It's still a great song! Because it's mostly about happiness and positive vibes.
  3. Say Amen (Saturday Night)...The song isn't as great as the music video but it is part of a trilogy with This Is Gospel following after the Emperor's New Clothes!

    Last band! Twenty One Pilots!
  1. Their most recent song “Level Of Concern” which is all about the world's current events! It's also just really catchy and you should check it out!
  2. Ode To Sleep. The beginning rap is GODLY and nobody can say otherwise cause if you do, you're just jealous you can't rap as fast as Tyler
  3. Car Radio. Another song with a rap but the song has so much meaning! So many little messages and symbols!

So uh yeah! Stay safe, wash your hands and have a great day! Have fun in quarantine, to my classmates, i miss you guys. Bye bye!

6 Things only emo kids will understand!

Whassup? Let's get down to business with 6 things only emo kids will understand!
Number One, The struggle of skinny jeans! My gosh are those things horrible to put on, torture for the legs my dudes.
Number Two, Spending AGES on your hair. On average a normal person takes maybe 10-15 minutes to style their hair, depending on length. BUT an emo kid takes at least 30-50 just straightening and styling, not to mention product, teasing and everything else
Number Three, You perfected the Myspace selfie stance for emo/scene kids! Even I did and still do this!

Number Four, All of us wanted a bunch of face piercings and definitely had or wanted a studded belt. If you made it out of the emo “phase” (nobody does) without piercings, i applaud you.
Number Five, Last one, you would definitely deny being an emo when you were called one. Like here's the scenario,
       Person; You’re so emo
       You; What?! No!
       5 years later
       You; yep….im emo

           Number Six, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCto3PCn8wo
There we go! Sorry there aren't many, stay safe, and remember this- Everyone is emo and you can't deny. See ya!

Taking a dip into the pool of emo triggers!

Heyo emo kings, queens and monarchs! Glad you came back! So if you don't already know, the emo/alternative community has a nice handful of triggers. Triggers for us can be very happy but they can also cause us to sob.
  Today, we’ll be introducing you to a sensitive topic for the emos…{our biggest triggers}
I'm not particularly looking forward to this but if i'm going to introduce you to the community, it must be done!
First we're starting with the trigger(s) from Twenty One Pilots
  • Numero uno “21 pilots” WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND SPELLS IT THIS WAY?! I personally HATE when people do this!!
  • Numero dos “but Tyler..Josh isn't real..” How could you say our precious drummer boi isn't real!? It’s a crime!
  • Numero tres “Goner”...Goner is a song put out by Twenty One Pilots (TOP) that is so sad that everytime we hear it, we cry like a newborn baby…
Phew, wait a minute..Next is Panic!at the disco..
  •    Number 1. Forgetting the ‘!’ in P!ATD’s name. It's such a small thing but don’t you dare.
  •    Number 2. “HEY MOON, PLEASE FORGET TO FALL DOWN” from Northern Downpour...it's such a sad song!!
  •    Number 3….”The Milk Fic” I ADVISE YOU NOT TO READ IT. ITS DISTURBING.
                             Well royal friends...last band!!
                   My Chemical Romance...There's so many..
  1. Disrespecting the band members with body shaming, saying they look worse now. PEOPLE GET OLDER.
  2. March 22nd 2013 and 9/23/16...The emos get it but for all you non emos, March 22nd 2013 is when they..broke up..and 9/23/16 is when they teased us! We were all hurt
  3. Minding your own business when all of a sudden Gerards moans from DESTROYA come on and my gosh is it startling at first
  4. “The Light Behind Your Eyes” is a beautifully sad song..
  5. “Cancer” a song about a man battling cancer and slowly losing
Well friends….THAT'S NOT IT!! THERE'S ONE MORE FOR MCR
It was recently turned into a happy trigger but before Halloween of 2019, the Gnote was the most painful trigger and outed every emo in a 3 mile radius
Let me know what your top song/band triggers are!
Now we're done...love you all, stay safe my sinners. Goodbye anddddddd Swat!

Fashion and Daily life for emo's

Have you become an emo yet? No? Bummer, I was looking forward to some newbies. In any case, today we are talking about the Emo Agenda. While most think we stay inside depressed, we don't! So join me to get the inside scoop on the emo’s!
Right, first of all, we go to as many warped tours as we can. Warped is a ton of alternative, rock and “emo” bands touring through America and three to four stops through Canada. All hell breaks loose at this time as fans scramble for tickets and get ready for the show. Getting ready meaning dressing how they normally do and resting their voice to scream really loud. Yet thanks to Covid, every show we had to see MCR live, is now canceled. THANKS COVID
Secondly, yes, it's true, we all dye our hair un-natural hair colours, rip holes in nice jeans and tear holes into our sweatshirts for our thumbs. We also wear a ton of eyeliner, like seriously guys. We go through like one pencil a week! Its insanity
Another thing that is pure insanity is our shopping trips to Hot Topic. If we're given a budget, we're guaranteed to go over and negotiate to get most or all of it. When you let us into HT, you can expect us to want and need everything in there.
Lastly. Most if not every single emo has both a Tumblr and a Myspace. (Follow me @/emoyeemotrashsentfromgeesus for Tumblr and @/emo_didsystem for Myspace) and we are on there every day, it's an addiction but it makes friends!
Thanks for tuning in today to learn more about us Emos! So long and goodnight.

Fun Facts about our emo gods

Thank you for staying friends! Today we’re sharing emo facts!
We will be sharing 3 facts for each band.

Let’s start with Panic! This time.
#1.Their first studio album went Double Platinum, their first hit song “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” hit the Top Ten chart back in 2006 making it the only top 40 song the band ever had.
I know a lot of newer fans say it’s not that great of a song, we long term sinners have been jamming to that song because it spoke to us and that is how a lot of us found the community we fit into.
#2.Former band member Ryan Ross wanted to be the lead singer in the band. However when the rest of the band heard Brendon sing, they thought he would be better suited for lead.
While Ross is a pretty decent singer, I don't think the band would have been the same if he was lead vocalist and not Brendon, because of the fact that his range isn't as wide as Brendons.
#3.Brendon Urie was raised Mormon! But when he was 17, his parents kicked him out for abandoning his religion after declaring himself an Atheist after realizing the hypocrisy he thought the religion represented.
I feel as though this fact is important because not only does this happen to a large sum of the religious population, but it somewhat shaped Brendon into who he is now.
Alright, now we’re moving onto Twenty One Pilots,
#1. They made it into the Guinness world record book back in 2018 for their album “Blurryface” which hit 1,400,000,000 streams! While some songs on the album weren't my absolute favourite Blurryface was an amazing album.
#2.This is a fact the Tumblr community came up with and it’s that, the album “Blurryface” was the first album in the emo quartet to have not one, but TWO songs completely ruined by social media.
Because let's face it, as much as we love Ride and Stressed out. We skip them when they come on.
#3. Our last fact for TOP is that they are an almighty band. Their band reaches genres such as; Rock, Alternative, Indie and Electro, what a range
Woot woot were onto My Chem!!
#1! One of the band's hit songs ‘Helena’ was written about the way brothers deceased grandmother.
If you've followed the band for a while you know that the death of Helena hits really hard for the two and even us because we treat them like family.
#2! They make your sadness feel valid and like its okay to cry and to be upset. But it also taught us that we need to fight for what we believe in and as Gerard once told us, Never let them take the light behind your eyes.
#3. Sadly this is our last fact of the day, because of their album “The Black Parade” there was a protest in the U.K.
Because, Daily Mail decided to rage against ‘the cult of emo’ and went as far as to blame them for a young woman's suicide. Though, our emo friends over in London decided to retaliate and show them how much MCR has saved people's lives and eventually Daily Mail shut up.

Thank you for listening! Till next time, Stay alive. byeeeeeee

Introduction to Emo Bands

Hello! Today I hope you’ll stick with me to venture into the wonderfully emo
world of Alternative Bands. Today you'll be learning about 3 bands that we'll
be going over for the duration of this blog. Let's get started!
First up, My Chemical Romance, now to any long time emo that name comes with sadness and joy as their music and personalities have helped thousands of people through hard times. The band members are Gerard and Mikey Way, Frank Iero and Ray Toro. The band has its 4 albums and maybe soon there will be a 5th 😉. I saw there may be a fifth because the band recently got back together on Halloween 2019 after being broken up for 6 years, MCR’s FanBase is called the MCRMY because even through tough times, we stuck together.
Next up we have Twenty One Pilots, this band is made up of two best friends Tyler Joseph and Joshua Dun, the band has 3 albums, all are similar in style with each telling a story, Twenty One Pilots fanbase is referred to as the Skeleton Clique and is known as the most inclusive fanbase ever.
The last and final band we will be exploring is Panic! At The Disco. Lead singer and only remaining band member Brendon Urie has been a solo act since 2009. One year after the release of Panics second album “Pretty.Odd.” Ryan Ross, Dallon Weeks, Jon Walker, Brent Wilson and Spencer Smith left shortly after. Panic! Has 6 albums and each one has its own sound and personally I think they all fit in well with each other (though others may disagree because Panic! Went from really on the emo side to more pop but still punk). The Panic! Fanbase are called “sinners” because of the “Emperor's New Clothes” music video, where Brendon is becoming a demon.
Thank you if you stay tuned to this point, stay tuned till next time when we share a couple facts about each band and their members! Before you go, I want to ask, even if P!ATD is only Brendon, do you think he should still use the band's name? Till next time, Goodbye Sinners, Skeleton Clique Kids and MCRMY  followers!
